About Me

I am a married mother with two little girls both of primary school age and I live in Tunbridge Wells. I grew up in this area and went to school locally. My career began working in Radio for the BBC for several years. I then worked and travelled overseas prior to working in corporate travel and marketing.
Why I became a Personal Fitness Trainer
I have always had a deep love of sport and keeping healthy, so was determined during my first and second pregnancies to remain fit and well throughout the nine months and whilst the girls were growing up. It was through running - and sometimes power walking with a pushchair that enabled me to return to my pre-pregnancy size and mentally cope with the sleep deprivation that coincides with being a new parent.
Through prescribing my own running programmes I gained an appetite for learning more about fitness. I wanted to know all about the amazing way the body works, especially pre and post pregnancy. I also found a huge desire to help people achieve things that they belive they couldn't do and a need to motivate and educate people as to the health benefits that exercise offers.
For these reasons, I decided to train as a personal fitness trainer, with such enthusiasm and endless passion, I know this is the perfect career as it combines my lust for sport with my inspiration for helping others obtain what they really want from life, health and happiness.
Areas of Specialization/Interest:
As well as fitness training for general wellbeing, I also work with specialist populations, which include obesity, de-conditioned individuals, pre and post natal clients, weight management, older adults and those who desire sports conditioning.
